In my community most of all the things we see is guns, drugs, & money many kids & teenager are grown into the bad violence in Los Angeles. California is the biggest state for violence & Los Angeles is the biggest city for crimes & killings, but us people in this community pull through the violence & killings & still try to make away to raise our family's. This community we live in you can make the best out of your life or mess up & make it the worse in your life I just hope one day when I have kids they don't have to raise up in this mess up community with violence, robing, killings & even more. So for my new family in the future Imam make sure that I make the best for there lives so they don't have to worry about somebody coming up to them asking them were they from or even trying to put them in a gang, because I don't want my kids to go through what I been through in this community.  

 

   

Faith is just what my family represent we've been through so much stuff all of us. It just shows people how much faith my family really got, the backbone in my family was my mom she new what to do if somebody was sad, mad or just not feeling good she new what to say & what to do to make a person feel better. So when my mom pass away December, 9 2010 when I was just sixteen years old but right then I new I would have to be the backbone of our family now, & I didn't have no problem with it because I know my mom raise a good young man. So basically we is just a family with pain & struggle like everybody else just trying to keep the faith.

As you see this picture my mom is from Houston, Texas so it represent her down south ways & were she come from. My family  was raise really close & overprotective so when something happens to one of us we all go through it, my family's culture is basically normal we celebrate holiday expects Halloween. Because my mom is feels like that's the devils day, its know christen are know region thing its just the way my family do things.    

If  you ever seen this movie then you will know that it represent pride just what its called. So why I think this picture represent my school because we always have people tryin to knock us down telling us we can't do it, but we all fight through what people say to us. Because we know we can do better so this is the time to take what people say to us to put us down &  use it into pride  & show them we can do whatever we put are minds to because can't nobody stop u from going but u. So take this in your heart through life & just think about what those people in pride went through & you will know you can keep going & reach your dreams.

 People always think something about a person just off the way they look. People think I'm a gang member just because how I dress so they judged me off what they see not what they know. That's why I think theirs so much drama in the world today because everybody always judged off what they see when they don't even know a person. I am not a gang banger or member I'm just me Devon aka $move so don't judged me off what you see get to know me & judged off what you know the full picture not just the view.

This image is the way through my life because one day I want to be come a rap artist. The way I  use my words; so powerful & so strong I use my words like I was protesting  to millions of people . I can touch somebody else with what I'm saying & don't even no it I can give them hope & courage to push through their problems  if they feeling down pick them back up. So when I was eight I figure out that by me watching all these rapper like Ice Cube, snoop dog, Lil Wayne, young jeezy &  so many more so y this time I new I wanted to be a rap artist.
